Student SIG Board Applications (Deadline September 11, 2026)
Student SIG PageAPPLICATIONS WILL OPEN SOON to elect new members to our APTA North Carolina Student SIG Board. Applications for available open offices will close on September 11th, 2026, at 11:59 pm. We look forward to seeing many applications from great emerging leaders!
2026 Meaningful Mentorship Program (MMP) [Deadline Nov 14, 2026]
Learn more. . .The need for mentorship always come up as does the desire to serve as a mentor! Our Chapter's Early Professionals Special Interest Group put those two things together and. . . Eureka!
The 2026 mentorship matches are underway right now; however, we are updating our timeframe moving forward.
We are opening the window for registering as a MENTOR or as a MENTEE right now for 2027! Registration closes in November. But why not sign up now for next year??
2026 Community Impact Challenge (CIC) [Deadline Dec 1, 2026]
Learn more. . .Our DEI Committee has rolled out three iterations of the CIC, $1500 grants to PT/PTA students or PT/PTA clinicians to initiate a solution for a need in your community.
While the 2026 awardees will be receiving their grants to start their projects soon, we are updating next year's CIC timeline to open the submission window now to close in December, to receive grants next January.
