  • I have a topic I would like to present!

Excellent!  We welcome all PTs and PTAs to write a presentation proposal.  You are welcome to discuss your idea with the Online Education Committee Chair or the On-Demand Remote Recording Liaison to brainstorm.  Or, if you know how to present already, feel free to fill out a proposal.

  • How do I write a proposal?

It's easy!  All the required parts are in the proposal form:  Title, description, objectives written in academic format, citations (5 published within 10 years), speaker bio, time-based agenda.

  • I'm interested, but I have not presented before

Our Chapter intends to help facilitate and foster both live and recorded webinars that are interesting, evidence-based, and cutting edge.  If you're not an academic, never fear!  We are happy to help and would especially love to help clinicians turn their expertise into high-level education.

  • Should I present live, recorded, or both?

Great question!  You have the option of presenting live webinar, a recorded on-demand class, or both.

Either way, we will work with you to write up a high-quality proposal, get it accredited, then ensure you're comfortable and practiced for presentation or recording.

For live webinars, we offer a one-time honorarium.

For recorded webinars, we will split registration proceeds with the speaker, paid quarterly (after platform set-up and maintenance fees).

If you're intrested in recording a presentation for on-demand, we will work with you on the high-quality proposal, then have it accredited through APTA Learning Center that streams our APTA North Carolina courses on-demand.  Then we'll facilitate whatver help you need to record your presentation.  After initial costs to set-up the course on the APTA Learning Platform, APTA North Carolina will earn 70% of further registrations.  We will split that 35% for as long as the course is posted, paid quarterly.
