The Musculoskeletal Syndrome of Menopause: What ALL Physical Therapists Should Know
Menopause can have a profound impact on musculoskeletal health, pelvic floor function, and overall quality of life, yet it’s often overlooked in clinical care. This course equips physical therapists with the knowledge to recognize common menopausal symptoms, understand their connection to the core and pelvic floor, and apply treatment strategies informed by the Musculoskeletal Syndrome of Menopause. Emphasis is also placed on improving interdisciplinary communication to support more comprehensive, individualized care for women across the menopause continuum.
