Every year, the APTA sets aside a day for PTs and PTAs to visit their Congressional leadership in their offices in Washington DC to explain PT issues.  Legislators want to hear from constituents!

Meet our APTA NC Federal Affairs Liaison

Dr. Lance Maybry is a retired Air Force PT who teaches at High Point University.  He's an expert in musculoskeletal PT, especially integrating imaging.  His passion for the profession has found its perfect outlet in his extensive work as the FAL!   If you're interested in Federal Advocacy, Lance will help you become a Key Contact and help you every step of the way.  As a Key Contact, Lance will help you invite your Congressperson to visit your place of practice or set up an appointment to visit them ~ in state or consider attending APTA annual Hill Day in DC!
