Meet our APTA NC Federal Affairs Liaison

Dr. Steven Wentz is a full-time PT and business partner at Upstream Rehabilitation.  With 12 years of experience, he is driven by a strong passion for learning and service. In addition to clinical work, Steven has been a speaker, researcher, and author—recently contributing a textbook chapter on Primary Care PT.  Steven’s professional Association leadership positions include Advanced Privileging Chair for the APTA Federal Primary Care Special Interest Group, Treasurer of the APTA PT Fund Board of Trustees, and mentor to young clinicians for the APTA North Carolina chapter. In 2024, completed a one-year intensive program as an APTA Leadership Scholar, along with a select group of PT from across the country.
