Eligibility & Submission Requirements

• Must be an APTA NC student member
• Must be nominated by a licensed APTA NC member or faculty member who is not a PT/PTA
• Nomination Form (includes Letter of Recommendation)
• 1 Additional Letter of Recommendation by an APTA NC Member
• CV/resume
• Other Letters of Recommendation accepted

Award Winners Will Demonstrate Many of these Attributes

• Demonstrate superior scholastic ability and measurable potential to future contributions to the PT profession and the APTA, and APTA NC if they plan to remain in NC.
• Are actively involved in and promotion of professional

activities including but not limited to APTA NC, Student SIG, Advocacy Day, Student Conclave, APTA Student Assembly, and/or community service.

• Demonstrate excellence in other arenas such as clinical rotations, research, and student leadership activities.
• Recipients of this award embody and demonstrate a commitment to developing PT as a caring profession. 

Winners will receive:

• Award presentation at Annual Awards Ceremony
• Commemorative plaque or trophy
• Highlight in APTA NC newsletter & website
• $100 toward defraying the cost of travel/lodging at Annual Conference.
