Live Webinar Only - Agreement between Speaker & APTA NC

  • The APTA NC OnLine Education Committee will receive your Live Webinar proposal and submit it to the Continuing Education Review Committee for accreditation.
  • When the OnLine Ed Committee receives approval from Con Ed  Review Committee, our OnLine Ed Committee will ask you to sign this Speaker Agreement.


  • The OnLine Ed Committee will assist the Speaker in developing content, visual aids, practice speaking, or any other assistance needed to prepare the Live Webinar.
  • Speaker will work with OnLine Ed Committee Chair to pick a topic and date to present.
  • The Speaker will receive an Honorarium from APTA NC.
  • APTA NC will provide technical management for live remote presentation.
  • APTA NC members can attend for free; Non-members are charged a fee.
  • The Live Webinar will not be recorded unless the speaker chooses to record the presentation.
  • APTA NC will not use the Speaker's materials for any other purpose.
  • If the Live Webinar Speaker would also like to have their presentation posted on the APTA NC Learning Center on-demand, they must choose to agree to OnDemand Recording agreement below.


OnDemand Recording for APTA NC Learning Center -

Agreement between Speaker & APTA NC

  • Upon receiving the Proposal, the APTA NC OnDemand Education Liaison will vet the submission and work with you for any needed revisions; then submit your Proposal to APTA Learning Center for accreditation approval.
  • Once the Proposal is approved by APTA Learning Center, our Liaison will have you sign this Speaker Agreement.


  • The OnLine Ed Committee will assist the Speaker in developing content, visual aids, practice speaking, or any other assistance needed to prepare the OnDemand Recording.
  • The Speaker will record the course with appropriate visual aids and provide the class in MP3 format for posting to the APTA Learning Center.
  • Your course will be available for download at anytime for a small fee for APTA NC members (higher fee for APTA members of other states, and higher fee for non-members around the country and world).
  • The APTA Learning Center will upload and manage all technical aspects of the course.
  • Your course will remain on the APTA Learning Center for 1-5 years; APTA Learning Center and APTA NC OnDemand Ed Liaison will review content and number of attendees annually.  You may be invited to renew and update a well-attended course after several years. (which would involve a  new Speaker Agreement).
  • The cost of technical platform management will be paid out of the initial registrations. 
  • The Speaker will not receive an honorarium.  Instead, after the Learning Center management fee has been met for one course, further registration fees will be split in the following manner:  30% to APTA Learning Center, 35$ to APTA NC, and 35% to the Speaker, paid quarterly.
  • The Speaker will work with our OnDemand Liaison to manage Speaker distributions.
